  • TruthTeller

A small team from a small country. If they played in any of the leagues mentioned here they would have very few, if any, titles, evidenced by their failure to ever be crowned champions of Europe.

    • Aldo

A big team from a small country maybe but we still do have a European trophy and we do have the honour of being the First British team in a major European final , we are also more successful than some of the so called bigger clubs in England , Italy and Spain.

Remember in some of those countries there are only one or two successful teams who are Government backed and UEFA ensures the odds are stacked in there favour , Spain has only two real teams winning most things in fact most countries do.

If you call taking 250,000 plus fans to a European final in 2008 small or having millions of fans worldwide with supporters clubs in nearly every country small ! Then you may be correct , but I posit it is more down to European and national governing body rules that teams can’t move countries and certain teams have more guarantees to play and win European football than big teams from small nations !

    • aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

If Celtic and/or rangers played in any of the league mentioned here, they would have access to the kind of money the clubs mentioned here have. They have bigger stadiums than 90% of Europe, and have a global fan base which spends fortunes on merchandising (although rangers don’t own their own merchandising these days).
Both are amongst best the biggest fan bases in world football. Probably in the top five.
Huge clubs that are restricted by the lack of tv funds in Scottish football. Tv money is all that keeps the EPL solvent.
But you’d know that if you had any football knowledge outside the big four leagues.

    • aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Man Utd have won 13 of 24 EPL titles. That’s pretty dominant. Juventus are on for 6 in a row. Inter had 5 in a row before that.
Psg had 5 in a row. Munich are about to make it 5 in a row. Barce have 8 of last 12 titles. Porto and benfica shared the last 14 titles. Benfica on for 4 in a row.
These leagues aren’t as competitive as people like to claim. They just have he finds to compete in Europe and make thins look better.

    • aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Celtic get about 2.8m for winning the Spl. This includes tv money. 19th in the EPL gets 4m and 85m tv money.
Celtic average 55k at every home game. That’s only bettered by Man Utd in England.

    • Johnston Smith

Thought you were an Irish club…everything points to that, banners, flags, club crests…deluded somewhat .And of course your fan base who are supporters of a terrorist group. but hey ho.

      • Aldo

I think you are confused , my comment was about the worlds most successful club called Glasgow Rangers , a very proud British club , it is the other wee Glasgow club from the East End who’s fans support a terrorist organisation which has killed thousands of innocents including children

  • Frankie G

Who compiled this list? Serious inaccuracies! Chelsea winning the Premier League in 1995???

  • ram narayan k

where is liverpool, 5 times kings of europe after real madrid and milan,no epl cup but won a lot english cup after united.liverpool is the most successful after united in england.

  • cr7

this is a joke . Milan have won 7 Champion Leagues and is not in that list . I am a Real Madrid but i am to recognize that Milan is a great team . Barcelona in second place ?/ this is a joke ??Atletico in the top ten ?? Atletico never have won a Champion

  • aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Exactly what does this idiot constitute success?
I take it he based it on ‘I’ve heard their names because they are in well marked leagues’.
How can Man City be considered in any list of successful clubs? Small club until an oil sheik bought them.
Celtic and rangers have won almost 200 trophies between them. Al ahly have about 150 on their own.
Liverpool are more successful than any of the English clubs mentioned. This idiot must have only been watching football for about a decade.
    Fucking idiot.

  • aaaarrrrgggghhhhh

Ten Insider….is that the story of your mums Saturday night?

  • Eerike Kamberipa

You must be kidding me, Liverpool must be part of the list no matter what…. this is bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are Five Times UEFA Champions League Winners, 3rd from Real Madrid and AC Milan, And is the second most decorated team in England, Second to Manchester UTD.

  • Zha
