Standing 6 ft.1in tall this American right handed softball pitcher was born in La Mirada, California. She was the first ever baseman from La Mirada who made it to major teams like the USA national softball, Arizona Wildcats and Chicago Bandits.

She got her first national call up in 2004, where she helped her team go on and win the gold medal in 2004 summer Olympics. Her brilliant run of form continued as she went on to win the silver medal in 2008 summer Olympics. Time magazine described her as the most famous softball player in history

An iconic figure in the word of professional tennis, this Russian tennis legend stands at 6 ft. 2 in, and like her height her career too reached great heights. She never missed a single WTA since 2001, becoming world no.1 at the age of just 18. She is the third most dominating female tennis player in the world having won 35 singles titles and five Grand Slam titles.

Off court too Sharapova is a sharp player. She advertises for various companies like Nike, prince and cannon while featuring in sports illustrated swimsuit issue. She is also a UN ambassador for Chernobyl Recovery and Development program.

Another American in our list standing 6 ft. 3 in is Kim Glass. Born in 1984 she gained her fame both as a volley ball player and a model. We can still see her in action as she plays as an outside hitter for Rabita Baku. Her height along with her superb skills won her the 2001 Pennsylvania StateGatorade Player of the Year and MVP of Lancaster Lebanon league in 2000 and 2001.

International call up soon followed her success and she got her first taste of international in 2007. Kim glass made her first Olympics appearance in Beijing, which resulted in her team winning the silver medal. Nicknamed Gabby, this volleyball player from US is 6 ft. 3 in. She is also a fashion model and television celebrity. She lost her father at a young age and was raised in Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, before getting a volleyball scholarship.

As a pro volleyball player, her team was the first ever winner of the beach volleyball world champions. Her productivity as athlete won her the WBVL kills leader from 1993-96 and best offensive player of the year from 1994-95. Gabby had a parallel career too as a sports fashion model and was named by Elle as one of the five most beautiful women in the world.

Nicole is a Canadian high jumper who is 6 ft. 3 in. and was born in 1976 in Aurora, Ontario. Unlike many professional athletes, she was found working at a McDonald’s by Dave Hunt who suggested she give it a shot at high jump. And then there was no turning back as this major leap in her life made her one of the most dominant figure in Canadian high jump.

She represented her country 4 times in commonwealth games winning gold once and finishing 3rd two times.  She even completed her PhD in sports Psychology at Michigan State university.

Kerri is a 6 ft. 3 in. American beach volleyball player who aces all the leaderboards in the history of the game. She has the most number of Olympic medals than any beach volleyball player with 3 golds and a bronze under her belt.

Kerri along with her colleague Misty May Treanor won gold medals and often called the greatest beach volleyball team of all time.

Yet another American female athlete, this time a basketball player and a not surprising 6 ft. 4 in. for height. She is the younger sister of infamous NBA player Anthony Parker and plays for Los Angeles sparks. She is very versatile player but plays mainly as a forward. Dunking is a major highlight of basketball and Nicol was the first ever woman to dunk in a NCAA tournament.

Her major achievements include WNBA championship in 2016, WNBA MVP award twice in 2008 and 2013 and WNBA all-star game MVP in 2013.

Her impact on international level too was impressive as she won two Olympic gold medals.

Blanka is a Croatian pro high jumper and the best in her country she stands 6 ft. 4 in. tall. She has a very impressive national record and an indoor world champion. In 2005 she faced a hyperthyroid condition proving a major blow for her career. But she came back strong a year after winning a silver in indoor world champion. The medal tally of Blankais a true reflection of hard work a physical strength as she was decorated with 12 international gold medals, 3 silvers and a bronze. Surprisingly she managed only a silver and a bronze in Olympic medal. Her father too was a gold medalist in the 1983 Mediterranean games and coached Blanka Vlasic himself.

Even though she had a hard injury prone career she still managed to be European athlete of the year in 2007 and 2010.

Yvetta is a Croatian long distance swimmer and told the world about her long distant swimming skills by swimming across the English Channel and setting a world record. A whooping 6 ft. 4.5 in. makes her the tallest female swimmer in the world. She managed to swim across the English Channel thrice with unbelievable strength and stamina.

Even with such good skills, yvetta could not find a club for herself thus making a tight budget out of the sponsor money for 10 long years until one of them told her to cross the English Channel to attract some clubs, which worked out well for this swimmer.
